Unless you’ve been living under a rock in 2018 you’ll probably know that today is the big day that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot in what will probably be a pretty lavish wedding. But they’re not the only ones! And I have to say, I am way more excited about these two getting hitched. Alex and Adam are saying ‘I do’ today and it’s set to be a beautiful one. They’re way more fun than the Royal family and I’m expecting great things on the dance floor. Here’s a little look back at their engagement shoot back in March.
Royal wedding? What Royal wedding?
When Alex and Adam first got in touch with me, they had no idea they would be sharing their day with a royal wedding – yep, they had the date first so actually Harry and Meghan totally nicked it. I love that it’s given them a little added excitement though, not that they need it! They’ve even been in their local paper, love it! I assume an invite to the palace is in the post.
A windy shoot in the Peak District
When we talked about their pre wedding shoot, they were keen to go somewhere they like to spend time and picked the beautiful Peak District. We planned for late March, because that would be lovely weather and shining sun, right? Yeah… the British weather had other ideas. It was insanely windy and a little bit cold so we had pink noses and hair going everywhere but you know what? They rocked it anyway, it totally worked. These two have such a sense of fun and really embraced just being themselves and getting a bit silly. We played some fun games to keep warm (hence the jumping jacks), and they proudly showed me their tongue-sticking-out skills.
I am so excited to be shooting this wedding, Harry and Meghan eat your heart out! Here are a few of my favourites from the pre wedding shoot. If you fancy a fun and relaxed pre wedding shoot of your own, drop me a line and let’s talk!
